The Essence of… The Importance of Self-Love, Sunshine Coast // With Pam Siddins & Alana Arvanitis❤
Ladies, thank you for joining The Self-Love Movement. I am delighted to be apart of this very empowering group and look forward to seeing it gain momentum as more of us join in honouring ourselves.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing. Reaching out and having the courage to value yourselves. Embracing a journey of Self-Love.
Each and every one of you was amazing and it is within your uniqueness that I am so inspired to look within for that that matters most.
A huge heartfelt thank you to Alana for welcoming me as the Ambassador of The Self-Love Movement Sunshine Coast. Thank you for your passion and dedication to the Movement and making it available to so many.
A moment I am truly honoured to have shared with you is when Holly gave us insight on her journey. The moment I saw her stand up out of her comfort zone and become the leader she could be proud of.
Here is a reminder of the 4 valuable points to keep you on track to Self-Love:
1) Being Your Own Best Friend – How do you show up for the important people in your life? How do you show up for yourself? How do you support, encourage and appreciate yourself? Most importantly, how are you talking to yourself in your internal dialogue? Are you being a good friend or bad foe/total bitch?
2) Honouring Yourself – How often do you change plans to give yourself the nurturing you need? How often do you ask what you want/need in a situation? What is going to make you feel lightest and peaceful? How often do you put your own needs/wants ahead of others instead of the other way around to avoid disappointing or upsetting anyone?
3) Boundaries – Gentle and kind but firm and clear communication to others saying what works and what doesn’t work for you, what you will and won’t accept, and what you will and will no longer participate in. “No thank you but I wish you all the best!”
4) Forgiveness – We keep our pain alive caused by other people or events because it validates us. But bitterness and resentment is like swallowing the poison and expecting the other to die. Forgiveness is not for the other people, it’s for ourselves so that we don’t become toxic or sick. A lot of us know this and work hard to be compassionate and understanding, but the key for me to Self Love was found in actually forgiving myself. How much time have you spent forgiving yourself? For the decisions you made or behaviours you engaged in that have caused you or others harm?
Remember beautiful Souls…. we are all perfect. It is the expectation we perceive others have on us that makes our journey rocky. Ask if not certain. Embrace living in Duality. Don’t be afraid of your sadness, frustration, anger, or disappointment. They make you human. Go within. See why you are grounded in the feeling… it is when you learn the lesson here your true light to expand into is revealed.
Sending love and gratitude,
Pam Siddins ❤
