by | Soul Notes

Welcome to the family, Kelli-Ann Falso, our newest Self-Love Ambassador!

We welcome our newest Self-Love Ambassador to the shores of Brisbane!

What does this mean you might ask?

It means that more women will be connected to their True-Self in Self-Love through our magical movement.

It means community, sisterhood, empowerment, inspiration, support and so much love!

Oh.. not to mention a whole lotta fun!

The Self-Love Movement is a space and community for women to be empowered, inspired, supported and most importantly, loved.

Self-Love requires commitment, dedication, persistence, and inspired action, which are the foundations and core values of our movement.

Brisbane, let’s meet your Self-Love Ambassador, Kelli-Ann;

I believe that I have always been a seeker of Love and Joy and have experienced many chapters in my life where I felt that Love and Joy were not present, so I sought to cultivate it in these moments in my life.  For example, in my late teens I started going to church, seeking more Love and Joy in my life. I also remember after my sister died having this deep sense that I never wanted to waste a day in my life and had this deep passion towards fulfilling my dreams, not only for me, but for her too.

This passion and desire for Love and Joy and how I was able to create it in my life brought me to the work I do with other women (mainly), as they wanted “What I Was Having”. I begun supporting women to find Love and Joy in and through their lives in their own special way – mainly through the gift of movement, and letting go through a modality of movements, one of the most profound movements that I personally experienced was Stretch and Release which I use in my life to release emotions that I am holding in my body. This is why I call myself a Mindful Movement Coach, the movement is VERY mindful for each individual person, or the intention for a session/class and they always feel and look amazing at the end.

So what became a Self-Love practice has become something that I teach to those around me, and Self-Love is something that I will never stop learning, from season to season and as my passions and desires change.

I am a certified Master Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, Intuitive Healer and a Health & Lifestyle Educator… and it all just flows depending on what my clients needs are at the time.

What does Self-Love mean to you?

Self-Love is checking in with myself each morning and cultivating Love and Joy in what my body needs IN THAT MOMENT. Not following my to-do list, but softening into what it is that I need. I am very much about tuning into the Feminine power of Ease and Flow, and if it feels like I am pushing or hustling, then I reconnect with what I need again – this could look like stopping what I am doing, playing a song and dancing or shaking meditation to reconnect with my body.

Why do you think it is important for women to love who they are?

If we don’t love who we are, it will be very difficult for us to love others and fulfil the calling that is upon us – our assignment – the reason we are here on this Earth.

Tell us some things you love:

I LOVE Nature, Fresh Air, Hugging Trees, Walking Barefoot on the grass, Plants, Ocean – all the love from Mother Earth!

I LOVE learning new things and to be honest I never stop learning, I ALWAYS have something planned next that I am doing to learn and grow, so I can teach others.

I LOVE that feeling of being with someone that is a heart-connection, whether that is my hubby, or a soul sister going deep down in conversation about what is REALLY going on in our headspace and working through it TOGETHER.

I LOVE movement and learning new ways on how to move, AND Moving to MUSIC and just flowing and allowing our bodies to have their TIME TO SHINE.

I have recently fallen in LOVE with FASTING, yes, you read correctly… Fasting. There is a real lesson in Detachment with fasting and it allows you to focus on what’s really important, and I always experience a beautiful connection to source during those times of fasting, not to mention how your body feels. It’s my ultimate lesson in loving Self… it truly is.

What are your top 3 Self-Love Rituals/Acts of Self-Love?

❤  Movement – no surprises there lol which can look like stretching, morning walk, afternoon walk, evening walk (you get it lol), dancing, having a sweat session.

❤ Fasting – having that opportunity to give your body a time to rest from all the digestion, even if it’s Intermittent Fasting. FASTING has been a game-changer for me in my relationship to self.

❤ Morning Pages/Journaling – setting up your day by putting your thoughts down on paper before you open social media and have all the noise of the world in your face.

Love,
Kelli-Ann Falso xo
