Welcome Eleanor Hadley, Our Newest Self-Love Ambassador
Welcome to the family, Eleanor Hadley, our newest Self-Love Ambassador!
Melbourne just got a little sweeter as we spread our wings and land upon your shores with our newest Self-Love Ambassador, Eleanor Hadley.
What does this mean you might ask?
It means that more women will be connected to their True-Self in Self-Love through our magical movement.
It means community, sisterhood, empowerment, inspiration, support and so much love!
Oh.. not to mention a whole lotta fun!
The Self-Love Movement is all about providing tools and resources and empowering, inspiring, and supporting women to make better quality heart-centred choices, igniting the magic of true Self-Love.
Self-Love requires commitment, dedication, persistence, and inspired action, which are the foundations and core values of our movement.
Melbourne, let’s meet your Self-Love Ambassador, Eleanor;
Eleanor is a Sensuality & Self-Love Coach and Founder of Sensual Yoga, a practice that fuses traditional yoga with dance and exotic feminine movement. With a Bachelor’s Degree in International Community Development, and having worked for multiple NGO’s including World Vision Australia and World Vision Vanuatu, Eleanor is committed to helping others transform. Following her study, and with a particular interest in female empowerment and the restorative power of community, Eleanor became the owner of pole dancing studio Pole Divas Prahran. Throughout her four years at the studio, Eleanor observed her students discover and develop their sense of self-confidence and body-love through feminine and sensual movement. Eleanor obtained her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Guatemala under the guidance of Jessi Luna and Kula Collective, deepening her knowledge of the philosophy and spiritual connections that yoga offers. She is also a Reiki practitioner, Certified Crystal Healer and holds a Diploma in Aromatherapy. Eleanor is excited to launch Sensual Yoga, the culmination of her decade of work across development, feminine movement and spiritual healing, with the aim of empowering women everywhere to deeply connect with their bodies.
My self-love journey: As tends to be the way, I started my journey to self-love after a big break up that left me lacking my entire sense of self. I no longer knew who I was or what lit me up. So, while mending my heart, I took myself on a week-long solo vacation to Ubud where I spent the entire week absorbed in personal development books and writing out my dreams, goals and plan for my life moving forward. Ever since, I’ve started incorporating daily self-love rituals in to my life and I have never been happier.
What does Self-Love mean to you?
Self-Love, to me, means having a deeply respectful, grateful and intimate connection with your body, mind and your soul.
Why do you think it is important for women to love who they are?
Because we spend our entire lives being told that we aren’t good enough. That we need to look like this, wear that, cover up, be sexy and on and on. It is my strong belief that women are not to be fixed. We are all so unique and have such light to share with the world and loving ourselves as we are is the first step to sharing that light.
Tell us some things you love:
I love movement and dancing. I love being a woman – SO much. I love the moon an the mountains and looking out over breathtaking views. I love the ocean and sunshine and travelling.
What are your top 3 Self-Love Rituals/Acts of Self-Love?
❤ My most favourite self-love ritual my moving meditation while I do Sensual Yoga.
❤ I also love using the hoponopono prayer while giving myself an oil massage.
❤ And finally, a crystal and essential-oil infused bath, surrounded by candles is heaven.
